Cambridge Building Society’s local branches have raised nearly £700 for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. Arthur Rank House in Cambridge provides specialist palliative care services for people over 18 who have a life-limiting illness.
All 23 of the building society’s offices took part in the fundraiser – selling small toy ducks and rabbits for £1.
A cheque for £686 was presented to the charity at the Society’s Mill Road branch on Tuesday.

Charmaine Millington, Branch Assistant said:
“This has been a really successful fundraiser, it’s great that the toys were so popular.
The Society is always pleased to support local charities and we have been keen supporters of Arthur Rank for a number of years, through a number of events including our staff fundraiser ‘Tour de Branch’. We would like to thank our customers and staff for all of their donations throughout this appeal.”
