The Arthur Rank Hospice at Home Appeal received another boost from the Cambridge Building Society this week, when they were presented with a cheque worth over £1,800 raised by the sale of cuddly toys and brooches in the Society's 23 branches.
Laura Billinge, from the Society's Mill Road branch said:
"We are very pleased that the cuddly toys and brooches sold so well, and I would like to thank our customers for their continued support throughout this campaign."
In total, the Society has donated over £5,000 to this appeal in the last twelve months, through a range of branch activities, a sponsored bike ride and an Easter bunny sale. Anna Crofts, Community Fundraiser for Arthur Rank Hospice said:
"We are so grateful to all the staff and customers at Cambridge Building Society for all their support. It is wonderful to join forces with such a strong local organisation and together we can provide care and support for local families coming to terms with realities of life-limiting illness. Thanks so much."

Laura Billinge, Branch Assistant at the Society's Mill Road branch hands over a cheque for £1,824 to Anna Crofts, Community Fundraiser for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.
